Fees and Contact Me

My fees are based on the type of service I provide and I am happy to discuss them with you.  For therapy services, I bill by the length of the session with the initial intake session lasting 1 hour.  Subsequent individual sessions are 60 minutes in length and couples sessions are 55 minutes.  My fees for training are negotiable depending on your needs.

I am an in-network provider for several insurance plans including Medicaid, BC/BS, Medica/UBH, United Health Care, Preferred One and UCare and most independent insurance companies.  I am out-of-network for Health Partners.  Typically your most cost effective care is provided by a therapist who is an in-network provider; however, some plans offer out-of-network coverage that may include a deductable or higher co-pays.  The best way to determine if your insurance plan will cover my services is to call the Customer Service number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your out-patient mental health benefits.

You may also contact me with any questions about my fees or if you need help determining your insurance benefits.

I accept cash or checks and ask clients to pay on the day of the session.  I do not accept debit or credit cards for payment.

Please feel free to contact me at  612-920-3626  with any questions about my practice.

You can also send an e-mail to however, it is important for you to know that e-mail is not always secure so please limit your message to your name and your interest in scheduling an appointment or to ask for more information about my practice.

If you are in an immediate crisis, please do not leave me a voice mail message or send me an e-mail as I may not be able to respond quickly.  Instead, please contact 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.  If you are a Hennepin County resident you call the COPE team at 612-596-1223.
